[wplug] VMWare's GPL violation

To be more precise (and cautious), I would say that VMware has
*allegedly* violated Christoph Hellwig's copyright in the kernel code he
wrote. Whether they actually did so is yet to be determined, either in
court or through a settlement.

Not that I would discourage anyone from donating to the Software Freedom
Conservancy's effort, if you support their position. After all, if no
attempts are made to enforce the terms of free software licenses, they
tend to become rather meaningless.

I would be happy to do a follow-up to my copyright presentation - I
didn't get very much into the various free software licenses and their
practical application, so this would be a natural extension. I'm afraid
March will be very busy for me, so I may not be able to be prepared for
an April presentation.
