[wplug] Presenting a database in a Joomla site

I aready got the basic setup, with Postgresql to boot
http://www.oflameo.com/joomla/. I still need to adjust the virtual hosting.

I have a separate database outside of joomla's own database I want to
present using the joomla engine. How would I do that?
