Hi all-
Is anyone using org mode in emacs? I'm using emacs 24.3 with no customizations of org mode, but it doesn't seem to be working as documented. I cannot get repeating events to work when I schedule a recurring "todo" item with a deadline. 

I created a TODO item, gave it a deadline (C-c, C-d) and input "2014-5-20 +1w". This added a deadline below the todo item with the deadline of today's date (so far so good), but the "+1w" cookie was absent from the date. Further, when I mark the todo item "done", it does not cycle the date forward. I've read all about the use of the "+1w" deadline modifiers in the org documentation, but it's just not working for me. 

Is there a customization that needs to me made in my .emacs for this feature to work correctly?
