[wplug] [wplug-announce] Meeting March 8, 1:30pm - Juju presentation

The Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group will be holding a meeting
from 1:30 to 3:30pm on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Wilkins School
Community Center in Swissvale.  Charles Butler will be delivering a
presentation on "Automating Orchestration in the Cloud with Ubuntu
Juju."

Do you use a tool like Puppet or Chef to configure and deploy software
on multiple machines?  Juju takes this to the next level by defining
things in terms of services, not packages.  It orchestrates the
multiple pieces of software which must interact--such as a content
management system, web server, and database--to deliver a particular
service.

The description of a service is known as a "charm" and many have been
pre-built and made available at jujucharms.com.  Juju is designed for
the cloud and charms can be bootstrapped on services like OpenStack,
Amazon Web Services, HP Cloud Services, and Microsoft Azure.
