[wplug] Data caps :(

Oh man...FIOS would be such a great deal, but I called them up and they
don't offer service in my area.
I called Comcast as well, but they couldn't find my location and said they'd
call me back in 3-5 business days once they figured it out. /This/ is my only
alternative?
Well, anything has to be better than playing along with data caps. If
Armstrong was really concerned about congestion, it would offer pay as
you go rates to try and cut traffic as much as possible. That's not
happening because it would make the "you only pay for what you use"
argument actually valid because most people would save money.
If congestion during peak hours was so problematic - which it isn't - they'd
let people use as much as they want during off-hours. I bet if the network
was really that bad, they probably wouldn't be advertising their "blazing
fast" Internet service and accepting new customers!
Such foolishness.
