[wplug] Any Archers in the house?

I've been using openSUSE on all of my machines, including my server, for
the past several months, but it's been getting very...wonky...lately. Lots of
random freeze-ups and other strange behavior. I decided to switch to
something more granular so I can be sure of exactly what is on my system.

I'm not insane, so I ruled out Gentoo. That left Arch, which I had tried a
couple of years ago and then promptly uninstalled because I thought it
was too much work. I don't like Debian-based distros and nothing RPM-
based appealed to me, so without any other options, I said a few prayers
and gave Arch a go on my main machine.

All I have to say is...WOW! I can't believe how much better it is. Everything
runs faster because I only install exactly what I need - and if it isn't in the
official repos, I guarantee it's in the AUR. Editing text files is easier than
wading through menus. The Arch wiki is perhaps the best Linux resource
I've ever found. Pacman is a snap.

It really is simple - and a great learning experience.

Do any of you use Arch? I can't be the only one who enjoys using it.
