[wplug] Parking hint for today's GUM

If you're coming to today's GUM, I just wanted to pass on this bit of 
information - on-street parking is going to be kind of rough in the 
downtown area today, due to the Arts Festival and other events going 
on.  The sign outside the building parking garage at the meeting 
location indicates that the garage is closed - however, the garage is in 
fact open (or at least, it was as of about an hour ago, can't imagine 
that will change before the GUM occurs).  If you want to park in the 
building, pull up to the entry gate.  Assuming the garage remains open, 
the ticket machine at the entry gate will tell you to push the button 
and take a ticket.  The gate will open, and you'll be able to pull into 
the garage.  They keep most of the lights in the garage turned off over 
the weekend, so it'll be kind of dark - do not be alarmed, this is 
normal and expected, and there will be sufficient light to find your way 
to the elevator to access the building lobby.

I believe the charge for parking in the building parking garage on a 
weekend is a flat $5.00.

If something changes and they do close the garage in the next hour or 
two, the ticket machine will indicate something like "OUT OF ORDER" or 
"STATION OCCUPIED", or something like that.  In the unlikely event that 
this happens, you'd then need to back out from the gate, and locate 
alternate parking.

The security guard at the front desk is aware that this event is 
occurring today.  If you have trouble finding your way to the meeting 
room when you arrive, you can ask for assistance.
