The 11th annual Ohio LinuxFest is just three weeks away! This major
event is only a three-hour drive from Pittsburgh and will once again
take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. It all happens
on September 13, 14, and 15!

Keynote speakers this year include Mark Spencer of Digium, Fedora
Project Leader Robyn Bergeron, and BSD legend Kirk McKusick.

All day Friday, professional training will be offered at Ohio
LinuxFest Institute. Available topics include Puppet, PostgreSQL,
SELinux, Request Tracker, cfengine, and vagrant, as well as a review
for the LPI 101 and 102 certification exams.

If you're just getting started, the Friday Linux Basics class will
teach you how to get a Linux system installed and running. This is
a hands-on experience that will get you familiar with, well, the
basics! And you'll have the opportunity to purchase the laptop you
use during the course at a bargain rate.

Even if these aren't your bag, there will be presentations all day
Friday at UbuCon and the Early Penguins Track.

Saturday will have seven tracks running concurrently, so there's sure
to be something there for you! By popular demand, the Career Track
is returning this year along with the Meet the Penguin Track for new
users. <http://www.ohiolinux.org/saturday>

Wrapping things up, LPI and BSDA certification exams will be on
Sunday for those looking to obtain professional credentials.

How much would you pay for all this? The main conference, including
Saturday's presentations, UbuCon, and the Early Penguins Track on
Friday are completely FREE! Add-ons available include:

1. Ohio LinuxFest Institute training is $350 for all day Friday - a
steal compared to typical course fees.

2. The Linux Basics class on Friday is $250 for the day.

3. There will be T-shirts of course, available to be shipped after
the event.

4. The Saturday night party is just $5, which gets you a drink ticket
and hors d'oeuvres.

5. LPI and BSDA certification exam pricing depends on which test you
are taking, paid to the certification organization.

6. Oh, and you can always make a donation to help keep Ohio LinuxFest
going - this allows us to put on a quality show year after year!

Even if you're not going to opt for any of the add-ons, you MUST
register to attend, so visit <http://www.ohiolinux.org/registration>
and register today! You can always add on the optional extras later,
subject to availability.

you in Columbus!
