[wplug] Pittsburgh Geek Bowl - this Saturday

Good afternoon, everyone! Just a friendly reminder that WPLUG will be
holding a very special bowling night at Paradise Island Bowl this Saturday
in lieu of our regularly-scheduled GUM. We'll be playing "poker bowling" in
teams of six to compete for fabulous prizes. 

I'll also be talking about my plans for Google Glass. A few weeks ago, I
became one of the 8,000 people that Google invited to work with them on
Project Glass. What do I have in mind, and how does it affect WPLUG? 

The board will (possibly) be meeting just prior to the bowling night to
discuss plans for a GUM next month. Since people don't seem to be
interested in giving presentations, we thought we'd do something a bit
different for May. Would you be interested in a workshop involving
Raspberry Pi? They're widely available now that demand has declined to a
reasonable level. I ordered an RPi earlier this week that I'll be setting
up as an XBMC media center. If the process is as simple as it seems on
paper, it should be trivial to help the rest of you do the same.
