I figured it out myself. I tweeted Robert Blackwell and he said 
"@Oflameo booking was one problem. My biggest problem is I help organize 
http://pghmakerfaire.com and did not have the tuits for both. " He also 
said "@Oflameo We plan to be back with #pghpw in 2013."

Hopefully I will have something to offer to the conference by then.
