Yeah, Robert's right. Basically, the people who spent the time
organising it (which last year included me running a sysadmin track),
didn't have the time available to make it happen this year.
Pulling even a small conference like PPW together is work; it's not an
outrageous number of hours, especially for PPW that has a history and
doesn't need to invent every wheel, every time, but it does take some
time. And we all have many calls on our time, don't we?

However, organisers don't need any special technical skills so don't
let that stop you from getting involved. If you want it to happen, you
can help make it happen (next year).
