[wplug] Port Forwarding in Verizon Router

Greg,

I think you have it figured out. I recall seeing disconnected hosts
retained in the "My Network screen", so it is *possible* that it
represents your DHCP-assigned iMac. If so, I would wonder why the MAC
addresses are different. It could also be something else you had
connected (the Toshiba Laptop wired?) for a short time.

Nine of them (marked *-), I have tracked down and figured out what they are. I am not certain about the three others (marked x-). Two appear to be coax to the TV service as you suggest. I think the third was the iMac before I changed it to static.

I would be curious to know if the host names should be picked up by this network map or if I need to configure something else to make that work. Some host names were picked up and other hosts are given a dummy name.

Also, it doesn't boot off the USB. I guess I need a BIOS update. When I run out of other things, perhaps I will figure that out.
