Hi Justin, 

I have enjoyed being in membership at WPLUG for a decade or so.  I lose track.  And it seems that membership is not regular because I got dropped rather easily for being late on dues.  Renewal seems to require appearance in person. Perhaps you can include a Paypal link on your new web design to make it easier.  

I attend very irregularly because I have been working outside the US most of the time the past few years, but I hope that WPLUG gets the rejuvenation it needs and which you are evidently working on.  Thank you for your efforts.  

I have always felt that WPLUG has been extraordinarily concerned with protocol.  That is not the reason for my absence from meetings, but I wonder if it may scare off some potential attendees and be related to the low attendance noted in your attachment.  The minutes which started this thread are an example of this obsession. Perhaps we can relax and be less formal.  Just a thought for you.  

I look forward to meeting folks next year.
