Here are my new candidates for netbooks.

1. Acer Black 11.6" Aspire AO722-0427 Laptop PC with AMD Dual-Core C-60
from Walmart
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-Black-11.6-Aspire-AO722-0427-Laptop-PC-with-AMD-Dual-Core-C-60-Accelerated-Processor-and-Windows-7-Home-Premium-with-Windows-8-Pro-Upgrade-Optio/19714371

2. HP Mini 210-1076NR Intel Atom N450 from Newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834158090

3. Acer Aspire One AO722-0825 11.6-Inch Netbook from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00719CH0O/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

Reasons
CPU world says AMD C-60 processors support 64-bit
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bobcat/AMD-C%20Series%20C-60.html

CPU world says Intel Atom N450 processors support 64-bit
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Atom/Intel-Atom%20N450%20AU80610004653AA.html

Candidates 1 & 2 cost under 300 USD

Candidates 1, 2, & 3 brands are popular on Amazon making them more
expendable and easier to quickly substitute a replacement and more
likely to be supported.

Candidates 1 & 3 supposedly last up to 7 hours on a charge

Candidate 2 supposedly last up to 8 hours on a charge
http://netbookharddrive.blogspot.com/2012/04/reviews-hp-mini-210-1076nr-netbook.html

Candidates 1 & 3 have hdmi ports

Candidates 1, 2, & 3 have vga ports

Candidate 3 gets a demerit for having as much ram as my desktop making
the entire setup seemingly absurd.
