I've had FIOS for a will now. Can't help you with price because I get
mine bundled with TV.

Do I like it? Yes, much much better than Comcast. The service (line
service, connect, etc) is much better. I don't have a dynamic IP, not
sure if Static is an option but I think you have to pay extra for it
so don't expect it to be included in any "deals". My major complaint
with Verizon is that their billing system is HORRIBLE. I haven't any
problems recently but you have to make sure to stay up on your
bills/charges.

I don't run any services/servers on my connection so I can't really
help there. Sorry

When I signed up I recieved a wireless router; however, it has a built
in 4 port switch. Not sure if the ones they are currently sending out
include that or not, but definitely check into it as it would meet
your requirements.

I think the time depends on your situation. They installers had to
run a line from the telephone pole to my house for my service. Not
sure if that would be needed for you or not, but I would think if they
needed a crew to do that it could extend your time. It wasn't a long
wait though from what I remember. Once the got the line ran to the
house, the installation took no more than 30 minutes.
