USENIX's LISA conference is always a great event for sysadmins and the 
like to get together. In its 24th year, LISA has every level of 
formality from a Refereed Paper track and training sessions to informal 
roundtables and Birds of a Feather sessions.

And of course the opportunity to meet and hang out with some seriously 
smart and experienced folks in our field; many are the folks that wrote 
the book on whatever it is you're struggling with:)

Whether you're looking to broaden your foundation or deepen your 
knowledge or merely to keep up with what's going on in the field, LISA
