Last year, you could take the LPI tests at the Ohio LinuxFest for
the discounted rate of $99 <http://www.ohiolinux.org/lpi.html>.  I
expect they will try to come up with a similar deal for 2010.

Once upon a time there was an effort to get a study group going
<http://www.wplug.org/wiki/Study_Group>, but it kind of fizzled.
If someone wants to try starting this up again, you are welcome to
use the WPLUG wiki and the mailing list that was established
<http://www.freelists.org/list/pghlinuxcert> as resources.
