As far as jobsites and many companies' job application methods, yes.
They're just online instead of on paper. I'm always leery about the
recruiting agencies that hand me a paper McDonalds-styled application,
but I fill it out anyway, and smile. I don't like it, though, as they
already have an electronic and paper copies of my resume before I get
there, which has all the information on it that I would write into these
little boxes.
Maybe I took this way off topic. OP mentioned taking classes, and I see
that as job-related.
