[wplug] Verizon wireless question

Hi all,

I know what you're thinking....
"What does this subject line have to do with Linux?"

Here's the story:
I recently upgraded my old Zaurus SL-5500 (Linux PDA) to a nice modern Nokia
N810 internet tablet (running Maemo linux).

A GREAT little device, by the way.

I tested out the feature of using my cell phone as a bluetooth modem and was
easily able to get online.

A web page appeared saying I needed to spend an extra $50/month for a data
plan to use this feature.
Sorry Verizon, but that ain't gonna happen.

Now here's the question:

I've heard of a way to get online using something called Quick2Net (or
something like that) where you pay per use.
I could find little more than a mention of this on Verizon's site and very
little via Google.
Calling Verizon's support center was about as useful as a barbecue pit on the
moon.

Does anyone know the particulars of accessing Quick2net and how much it costs?

Thanks for any info,

Rob
