[wplug] problem with apache log files and awstat

I run awstats too -- it updates it's self evey 5 mins or so and does  
not use the access.log file after that, the pc is a 4 year old althlon  
something or other and serves up 3 small commercial sites and it seems  
to be pefroming quite well.
