Let me add two things:

There was a wiki page setup to facilitate discussion on future meeting venues:
http://linode.wplug.org/w/index.php/Talk:Venues

Second, if you have an opinion on this, now is a great time to suggest
alternatives.  The criteria we are looking for are listed on that wiki
page.  We (the WPLUG board) has had a lot of discussion on this, but
it doesn't mean we (the members and the board) can't have more.
