I was thinking about getting one of the 8GB or 12GB models, hopefully
with the Atom processor when they come out.
I use gentoo, which uses a good amount of space for the portage tree,
but I run a very minimalist system. I use wmii as my window manager and
run mostly command-line apps for mail, chat and irc, so I don't think
I'll have too much of a problem with disk space. The only real GUI apps
I need are a file manager (pcmanfm) and firefox.
Thanks for the advice. I haven't been to any wplug meetings yet, but if
you're going to one, please let me know. I definitely want to check it
out before I buy one.
