[wplug] Multi-booting Linux/Win?

I have run Windows 98 and Linux together using LILO and now I want to
run Debian, Knoppix, Windows 98 and Windows XP Home Edition all on the
same machine. Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated. I heard XP
may try to aggressively overwrite the MBR with its boot block, if true
how do I disable that? Also does it matter what order I install? I'd
like to have the Linux partittions first on the disk (this is all
going to be on one hdd).
