Just download the .deb file and either use gdebi or "dpkg -i FILENAME", 
that will take care of the upgrade process.

Of note, I haven't tried this on my server that has a bit more complicated 
of a setup (bridged ethernet, etc), but on my desktop it went off without a 
hitch.  VM Migrated properly and everything.

Now, if only they could get multi-monitor seamless working like VMWare just 
announced in fusion 2.0...
