You just point your DNS information at Google's servers.  I don't  
believe Google is a DNS registrar.

You can use Google APps just for your email/calendar stuff, and just  
point your DNS information at the Computer Club's web server.  How  
much control do you have over the apache configuration on that  
server?  They will have to change it to tell it that your web  
directory (that corresponds to www.club.cc.cmu.edu/~chaos) is www.zachuram.org 
  (or whatever you choose).  Google Apps won't be able to do that.
