On July 21, the FCC will hold a hearing at Carnegie Mellon on
broadband Internet issues (or, as you may have hear, net neutrality). All
of the Commissioners will be in attendance. This will build on the two
previous hearings on network neutrality, "reasonable network management,"
etc. The FCC has not yet made announcements about specific topics to be
covered, speakers, agenda, etc. Those details will come in July. This
hearing will be open to the CMU community, and to the public (to the extent
space permits). Previous hearings have inspired protests, just to add to
the fun.

As an FYI, previously Comcast has gotten nailed for paying people to take
up space in these meetings and chant against network neutrality. The
incident at Stanford in April was a bit of a zoo too. Be part of the zoo,
come in a monkey costume.
