FreeBSD just got a driver for this in CURRENT, I'm unsure if
it's been MFC'ed to appear in the 7.0 Release and if it will
run your exact hardware.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the response.  I am willing to buy another controller card so I could use my new 500GB IDE ATA drive but I am having troubles finding a controller card that is compatible by Ubuntu 7.10.  I simply haven't been able to find this information.  Any idea where to look?
