[wplug] Doing OpenStreetMap in Pittsburgh

Hi List,

I'm following up (belatedly) from the BarCamp a couple of weekends
ago.  I would like to schedule two upcoming meetings for organizing
OSM related things in the area.

Is there interest for a meeting sometime on Saturday the 13th? I can
do it alongside the WPLUG meeting.  Where we are right now, having 3
people there would be a grand achievement so don't be afraid to commit
to coming even if no one else comes.

Topics for a December meeting will be on how to start lobbying
different organizations, such as geocaching clubs and biking clubs in
the area to have a look at OSM, and brainstorming what other groups
would be interested in participating.

I would like to schedule the second meeting in January.
Unfortunately, i'll be away the weekend of the January WPLUG meeting
to go to FudCon11 in Boston.  What weekend would work for people
interested?

Finally, can we get an OSM related mailing list on this server for
sparing all you non-mappers from the excess traffic and mailing list
noise?
