Maybe if the proposed city/county merger happens it will reduce a
layer of red tape and make community networks easier to get started
:-) This city has a bad track record of anti-competitivenes and siding
with the interests of business (even monopolies) over those that would
truly benefit the most people. But people here seem to blithely pull
the Democratic level no matter who the candidate is (as evidenced by
our current mayor Opie) so there will never be a higher level of
accountability and real change unless that happens imho.
