And mbox over NFS isn't any better either. ;)
There's a reason I always setup even a simple IMAP (like WU-IMAP).

That's a crapload better than Evolution!
Furthermore, you're a commuter as am I, so I'm going to be keeping
most of it on my local system, and using IMAP for lesser-used, remote
store.

Oh, that was my intent. I'm not adopting it, just playing with it.
And if it has a IMAP function, then I can always pull my mbox files
from that. I.e., if you're using WU-IMAP, they are just mbox files
in a directory. Used that for dealing with various, proprietary
e-mail client import/export.
