Coverage: Walnut Street from Aiekn to S. Negley; Resources: 17 nodes
Multiply by hundreds of miles of streets in the Pittsburgh area, you do the math.
Econ 101: Businesses don't long remain well-funded if they throw away resources on projects which don't return profits. There is a time to ignore welfare queens who desperately beg for free goodies.

Who can afford to build and maintain a network of hundreds or even
thousands of servers? A small team with the right tools.

is doing in shadyside: http://www.shadysidewifi.com -- all by himself.
He's doing SqHill, and I think one other area. How come he can do this,
but a well funded company *IN THAT BUSINESS* can't do the same thing?
