that's an extremely good article.  Who'd a thunk, back in '97 when Jeremy Dinsel and I started wplug, that Pittsburgh (and the world) would be so "open source" in '07.  Very cool.  Keep up the good works!  :-)

Hey everyone,
 
I finally got the Linux piece done. Thanks to everyone who offered themselves as interview subjects. In the end, I had more material than I could use.
 
That was partly because I wanted to provide enough background for people unfamiliar with Linux. Of course, telling the complete Linux story would take a book or three, so I left out a lot.
 
Anyway, it's on the newsstands, possibly on your front porch, and at www.post-gazette.com
