Or you could ask Ubuntu to ship 100 CDs, to be included with the systems. Free is better than Microsoft's $3 software, right? ;)

Sounds like a good idea.  Have you contacted SecondLife asking how they 
configure (if at all) refurbished systems?

We could configure a batch of systems during the next WPLUG InstallFest.
