We use snapgear for a firewall/VPN appliance. It's been running for about 3
or 4 months now with out any problems. We have an IPSEC tunnel to our
backup provider, plus PPTP connections for remote access. We had an esoft
instagate box, but it always had problems with VPN. The snapgear boxes run
a version of linux, not sure if you can really access it though. We got a
3yr warranty plus 3yrs of support.
