I have a "Multimedia" share on my linux box, that ANYONE on the network
can access through SAMBA.
kevin at linuxbox:~$ ll /opt/
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 176 2006-05-09 08:34 Multimedia
from smb.conf
[Multimedia]
comment = Various Music and Video Files
path = /opt/Multimedia
read only = yes
public = yes
I posted my full smb.conf at:
http://gentgeen.homelinux.org/~kevin/smb.conf
hope that helps some.
