I have been very satisfied with nidhog.net. A small, competent outfit,
they're mainly freebsd guys themselves, I believe. From what I can tell,
they seem to be at least fairly clueful.
The service I have is about 85% of 1.5M/768k, with multiple static IP
addresses. The connection is PPPoE. The personal customer service that I
received was outstanding and connectivity has certainly been good enough
for my needs of a few mail accounts and a few low usage public network
services.
Not sure about the pricing. I think it's in the ballpark, although I
believe it's a little more than the cheapest available. Usually, you get
what you pay for and this has been "Hassle Free". Talk to Jamie deHart
and tell him I sent you with a recommendation.
