[wplug] Everybody is trying to take over Linux

Here is an article about OSDL, FSG Merge to Create Linux Foundation,

Reason:  "the two organizations were coming together under one roof to
create a new dynamic in the market that would protect, promote and
standardize the Linux platform"

 

Isn't that what ubuntu is doing?  Is that what Microsoft thinks it is doing
with Suse?  

 

Am I mistaken or is everybody jumping on the Linux bandwagon to carve out
their piece of the action?  Or is this one really committed to free
software?
