You may have seen press regarding the water main break on Friday at CMU ie:

Rest assured, water service is up in running in Newell Simon Hall. 
Moreover, no water leaked inside Newell Simon Hall. All of the 
facilities should be fine. We will be open and operating with
business as usual.

With the surplus moisture in the vicinity and below freezing temperature, 
I personally urge you to use caution when using the sidewalks. In general, 
use common sense and care when it comes to transportation.
