So one thing to mention, this is for people who are a bit older and not technically inclined. There are some Mac users, and some PC users. Getting them to use PuTTY or SSH is actually a great way to do it, but I don't think they'll be able to handle it. Really, if they have to change the proxy settings on their browser then they're way over their heads.
