[wplug] Thinkpad X40 Slug sluggish when changing workspaces

Hello,

 

I have a user experiencing sluggishness when changing between workspaces.
The problem started after the system went into suspend mode.  We have tried
everything form restarts, increasing cpu frequency,  changing themes, etc.

 

It seems as though the system is trying to cache or retrieve the workspace
from cache.  

 

All other programs/process are functioning as normal.  Specs are below.
Thanks in advance. Suggestions appreciated.

 

Specs:  Fedora 3, ibm thinkpad x40, graphics: intel 852, kernel 2.6.9.
