I get a number of emails without a subject in the subject line (got to
love those Outlook users). And it can really mess up the tread view,
since Thunderbird seems to look at the subject line as part of the
threading process. I would like to add a subject based on the
sender/from line. So if the subject line is blank (or has the
"forward/reply" peice, but the rest is still blank), then the subject
gets rewriten as:

   **No Subject** From johnuser at example.com
   FWD: **No Subject** From johnuser at example.com

or (maybe) if they have their name in the "FROM" field:

   **No Subject** From John User
   FWD: **No Subject** From John User

I found this:

   :0:
   * ^Subject: *$

which will detect the blank Subject, but

(1) how do I check for things like "fwd: " or "re: "
(2) how could I then add in a subject as noted above.

Any help would be appreciated here. Thanks
