Pittsburgh Perl Mongers is holding a Perl Workshop (the first in the
U.S.!) this Saturday, September 23, at CMU in the University Center.
They're looking for volunteers to help staff the event. It's a great
opportunity to connect with Linux-friendly folks, even if you don't
use Perl. It's also an awesome opportunity to support free and
open-source software, as the Perl Mongers make an effort to advocate
open source in this area.

Details of the event are here. Check the wiki for volunteer duties.

Volunteers will get free breakfast and lunch and a bag of other
goodies. There will also be social events, including a pre-event party
at Joe Mama's in Oakland on Friday night around 6pm, and an
after-party at the Church Brew Works on Saturday around 7pm.

If you'd like to volunteer, contact Dan Wright at dan at dwright.org and
let him know that you're willing to help out.
