Hello,

Western PA Linux Users Group will be hosting a Special Event featuring the 
movie "Elephants Dream." It will be held on this Thursday October 17, 
2006 from 6:30pm to 9 pm  at Carnegie Mellon University, Wean Hall 5409. 
This meeting is free and open to the general public. The movie is 
family-friendly so please feel free to invite others to discover the power 
of open source. Popcorn, Pop, and candy will be served.

Elephants Dream is the worlds first open movie, made entirely with open 
source graphics software such as Blender, and with all production files 
freely available to use however you please, under a Creative Commons 
license.

The short film was created by the Orange Open Movie Project studio in 
Amsterdam during 2005/2006, bringing together a diverse team of artists 
and developers from all over the world.
