The Hauppauge MediaMVP is a little diskless PowerPC-based appliance
with a hardware MPEG decoder and SVideo output that runs Linux, for
streaming video and audio to your A/V equipment.  You can find them
for less than $70 on eBay.  It netboots itself, so there are a number
of alternate software images available for it, including a useful
subset of a MythTV frontend.
