I just remembered after re-reading my November 2005 post to
http://briteideas.blogspot.com/ ...  The "Samba-3 By Example" book was
my starting point for the LDAP project
(http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-Guid/).  Chapter 5 "Making
Happy Users" provided two essentials: 1) inspiration, and 2) enough
detail for me to envision the entire project start-to-finish.
