[wplug] No video on docking station

OK - this is me making some guesses here but it's better than nothing.

I've had laptops in the past that required an entry in X config file to use
dual monitors.

These older laptops were not dual head, it was the same video that could be
sent either to the LCD or to the VGA or both.

The 9600 is dual head.
This means different video on the LCD and CRT (extenal monitor).
I think X needs configured for dual head and I also think there is an ATI
switching program as well as a program that will generate a config for X.

Look at: atitvout
Also look for a config program that comes with the fglrx package.

I found this on the net:
http://www.mattb.net.nz/blog/2005/09/23/dual-head-on-an-ibm-t42-laptop/

Let me know if any of this is helpful and good luck.
