   For an intensive process on a backlog of tapes, I agree, but long-block
writing over of tapes built into ongoing batch or continuing processing, in
a parallel-to-the-standard-processing manner, might be a handy addition to
the operator's toolkit. (Besides, the computer isn't bright enough to know
it's working thru breaks).
