welcome to the linux world my friend,

there are, like Cameron said, there are many routes that you can take to
accomplish your task.

i would have a look at learning
iptables<http://www.google.com/search?q=iptables&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official>and
i believe that fedora has
hosts.allow and hosts.deny.

but like he said your question is a little vague. try some google searches.
