You could lower the temperature?

You could also feel empathy for the email instead of annoyance.

I don't recall seeing a temperature, but some pointers where to look.
I also don't have a Fedora machine handy, only RHEL3.

I suspect they are related to lm_sensors. Look in /etc/sensors.conf and 
see if there is a threshhold that could/should be raised.
I thought there would be a crontab in /etc/cron.daily or /etc/cron.hourly, 
but I don't see one. /usr/bin/sensors might also run as a daemon, I'm not 
sure.
