[wplug] Whats an Installfest?

Just a quick question, whats an installfest? What I immediately went with 
was a bunch of people sitting around installing linux. This sounds like a 
great idea; if you run into a problem, surely someone can help. However, 
having just finished installing gentoo on my old dell 8200, it seems too 
impractical. Obviously these things wouldn't last long enough to do 
something like that.
